This set comes with all of the offerings by Way Around.
The oval tags are awesome for sewing or pinning into clothing. For my outfits that need more description than the standard braille tags offer, I attach a Way Around tag through which I can access all the descriptive text I could possibly want. The text is customized by the end user for ultimate control of information provided. For example, I love cute socks. With Way Around tags, I won't accidentally match a sock with tacos to another with Poop emojis.
I plan to use the stickers to manage family heirlooms. For example, we have a bunch of family Bibles. Way Around stickers attached to the inner cover of each will tell me which branch of the family tree it is from. The stickers are discrete yet tactile enough for nonvisual location.
Magnetic labels? Aside from the obvious, labeling canned goods, think about labeling file cabinets, lockers, using them for organizing metal shelving or drawers in the garage, or attach one to your favorite vending machine with a reminder that the Snicker bars are at E-22.
The clip-on tags are great for attaching to wire schelving for restocking the deep freezer. I haven't found labels that hold up well in freezer situations but the Way Around tags are another great nonvisual option. Plus, you can add info to keep track of expiration dates.
These are just a few ways that I've come up with for using these tags! Clearly, I'm a fan and I think you will be too. Even if you're a strong Braille reader, these tags are still relevant because they provide more labeling customization than other premade labeling items. The ability to rewrite information to a label means that if you have to replace your favorite shirt, just remove the Way Around tag, recreate a new tag description in the app and attach it to your new favorite shirt. It is also worth noting that one doesn't have to know braille to help someone label items with Way Around tags, making them a great tool for all, regardless of braille fluency.
It is important to note that the output from the Way Around App uses the output from your screen reader. Do not expect audible feedback from the tags themselves and do not expect to record your input. I am a Voice Over user so I use either braille screen inputt, typing, or dictation to edit my tags. When I scan the tag, Voice Over reads back what I've input.
