The Storm from Blue Tiger is an over the ear headset that covers just one ear. The ear cup and controls sit on one ear and the headset band goes over your head and stops before reaching the other ear. It includes a swivel boom microphone with absolutely amazing noise cancellation, and can be worn on either ear. Plus, it has USB-C for charging, voice prompts, and 30 hours of talk time. It's great for phone calls, loud environments, or connecting to Zoom or meetings on your mobile device.

Physical Description

The Storm by Blue Tiger is a single-ear, noise cancellation, Bluetooth headset. The controls, microphone, and speaker are on one ear, with a headband that comes over the top of the head and stops before it reaches the other ear. The headset can be worn on either ear. For the below description, orient the headset so you are wearing it on your left ear.

There is a single button on the outer earpiece which faces out and has two raised dots. This is the multi-function button, or MFB, used to turn the unit on or off and perform other tasks.

ON the side of the earpiece facing out, you will find 3 additional buttons. From top to bottom, these are Mute, Volume Up, and Volume Down. IN addition, a boom microphone is attached to the earpiece which can be rotated up to 270 degrees.

ON the bottom of the controls on the left ear, you will find a recessed, rectangular port. This is the USB-C charging port.

This headset's mute capability is limited to use with a cellular device/ mobile phone. It does NOT support the mute function for a laptop or desktop based software.  Only the muting of Phone Calls in HFP is supported currently and only directly by using mute function on that cellular device.
