The StormBox Lava provides up to 24 hours of continuous playtime, measured at 50 percent volume with XBass Off. Actual battery life varies based on EQ settings, volume, and usage.

Charging and Power Bank Feature

The speaker charges via USB-C and reaches a full charge in about 5 hours using a 15W power adapter. A red indicator light remains on while charging and turns off once fully charged. You can also use the built-in USB-A port to charge your phone or other devices. For protection, keep the charging port and cable completely dry.

Auto Power-Off

To conserve battery, the speaker automatically powers off after 75 minutes of inactivity with no audio or button presses.

IP67 Waterproof and Dustproof Rating

With an IP67 rating, the speaker is protected against dust and full water immersion. Make sure the back rubber port cover is tightly sealed to maintain water protection.

Comfortable and Flexible Straps

The StormBox Lava includes two detachable carrying straps made from durable nylon and finished with sturdy metal clips. A long adjustable shoulder strap allows you to carry the speaker cross-body or over the shoulder, while a shorter hand-carry strap offers a simple grab-and-go option. Each strap attaches using a metal hook, similar to a small carabiner, that clips securely onto the two metal loops located on either side of the top control panel. This design makes it easy to attach, remove, or switch straps depending on how you want to carry the speaker.

The StormBox Lava includes a built-in microphone, allowing you to take hands-free phone calls directly through the speaker when connected to your phone.

Bluetooth and TWS Features

Easily pair the speaker with your phone using Bluetooth 5.4. The StormBox Lava supports both Stereo Mode (two speakers creating left and right channels) and Party Mode (linking over 100 compatible speakers together). Full pairing instructions are included in the manual.
