How To Pair

Pairing for the First Time

If you are using OpenFit Air for the first time, simply open the case and wait a few seconds. Those with usable vision should see the indicator light flashing orange and green. Next, check your bluetooth settings. If you see Shokz OpenFit Air or something similar, you are good to connect! Happy listening.

How to Pair Using the Button

Place both earbuds in the case, then touch and hold the touch areas on both earbuds at the same time for about five seconds until they enter pairing mode. The case will also show flashing orange and green lights during this process. After that, open your Bluetooth settings and select “OpenFit Air by Shokz” to connect.

MultiPoint Pairing

Something really cool about these earbuds is that they allow you to pair to multiple devices (MultiPoint Pairing). To do this, follow these steps:

1. Download the "Shokz" app for iOS or Android, if you haven't already. Ensure that it is up to date.

2. Make sure that bluetooth is on on the devices you would like to pair with your earbuds, and that the device with the Shokz app is paired.

3. In the Shokz app, make sure that your earbuds are on the latest firmware version. If not, update them using the given on-screen instructions.

4. Assuming that everying is updated, connected, and running smoothly, select MultiPoint pairing from the app. then, on the screen that follows, select "Connect to the Second Device.

5. Follow the instructions that appear to connect to your second device.

6. Now that your Shokz are hopefully now connected to two devices, you can manage those connections through the Shokz app.
